I think it should reach 40 billion easily as it earned 28 billion yen in just 38 days while Mugen train took 49 days.

Most of the tickets are usually sold early though, so it seems unlikely.

Nope, it's still selling more than Mugen train, can take another 38 days to get to 40 billion, but it will. most tickets were also sold early for Mugen train.

Its over 28 billion yen. The fastest to reach this mark by a big margin. Its also breaking all sorts of records in every country it has opened so far.
If you enjoyed the time you wasted, then its not a waste of time.

Even though I'm not sure if it will reach 40b in Japan, since Mugen Train was released under very specific conditions, looking at its performance in the countries it's been released so far, it seems practically guaranteed to surpass Mugen Train globally.

My prediction is that it will stay around $700m.
