| So I just finished watching this and I enjoyed it a lot. The animation is old, but it transports any action really nicely. And there's never a boring part in all of the movie. The writing is a bit too rushed in places which causes some weird, abrupt developments, but it's bearable. My biggest gripe might be, and that's me being honest, that the sexual themes aren't developed at all in this movie. Bagi CLEARLY is designed to look sexy to humans, and there is a relationship of sorts between her and Ryou. But it's never explored beyond some very light bonding scenes. Considering how unabashedly erotic Osamu Tezuka designed her appearance, it's a bummer he chickened out on fully exploring that relationship. Anyway, give this a try if you're into furry catgirls. If not, it's probably just a weird movie for you lol. |
