| Surprised no one had made a thread for this so I bit the bullet. It has a few issues. It's kind of confusing and feels rushed at times. The way the 2D characters and 3d backgrounds are combined makes the animation jarring and awkward sometimes as well. Despite all that it's been pretty entertaining. I like the setting, and the design and art style of the characters. I'm just having fun with the spectacle of the oddball show that it is. It's also the first show in Chinese that I've actually liked. |

| Yeah I also was wondering why there wasn't a thread for this. I watched the first episode, but—it felt empty to me. Throwing a ton of money at a thing to make it look good doesn't make it good. |

| I'm two episodes in (they're long episodes) and I have almost no idea what's going on, but for now I'm not sure I care. The sound design and music accentuate the spectacular visuals pretty well. Like Dragon Raja a while back, I may never really understand it but I'm in it for the eye and ear candy ATM. |
| Okay, I've now watched all four and I still can't really follow it. I will say that these entry-level Beyonders (Sequence 9, the bottom level) have Marvel Comics powers already, so I can't even fathom what this show will be like when they work their way up to Sequence 5 or 4. Incoherent as the story might be, the visuals, sound design, and music are still pretty incredible though. |

| OK, things are finally starting to coalesce. I think I'm going to have to go back and rewatch all the earlier episodes. It's all too much for my feeble mind to keep track of without a refresher. |

| I definitely have to go back and re-watch the previous episodes. I might even need to take notes. If this show had taken it's time to tell the story instead of going at a break-neck speed it could have been the best show of the season. |
