San-kyuu Pitch Chapter 20 and 21: Evaluation in Japan

Chapters 20 and 21 of San-kyuu Pitch are highly regarded in Japan. On the app JUMP Plus (the Japanese version of MANGA Plus), the number of comments on Chapter 20 reached 2770, which is almost the same as the number of comments on Chapter 196 of Dandadan published on the same day.

Author Kyuu Sumiyoshi has also been highly regarded for his previous work Hyperinflation, and I think he is one of the most talented young manga artists.

The problem is that this manga has too many depictions that cannot be understood unless you are a native Japanese speaker.

I think it's a problem that while Korean manhwa is drawn with an international readers in mind, Japanese manga often contains depictions that can only be understood by Japanese readers, leaving international readers behind.
