Knapsack Kid movie is nowhere to be found on any legal or illegal streaming platforms. Does anyone know where to watch this anime movie? The new season of Bunny Girl Senpai is coming, and I need to catch up!

This is also what I was thinking, I have found a pirated copy of USA BD release, but the comment section there is saying Aniplex BD subs are shit, so I am thinking should I watch that or not. I will probably wait some days and see if Aniplex puts them on Crunchy or not, else will have to watch the Aniplex USA BD version.

The dub is meh. Sub is the way to go. And yeah, most online sites have it available now. If you were to watch ANIME late like a night OWL like .ME you should be able to find it.

$45 each for Venturing Out and Knapsack Kid for 60 minutes of film on Crunchyroll is a sham. I did get Dreaming Girl because it was cheaper and longer.

Actually, I am curious…is there a reason why this movie and the movie about Kaede isn’t on Crunchyroll? I find it weird that that Bunny-Girl and Santa Clause TV Series as well as the Dreaming Girl movie are all on Crunchyroll, but why not these two movies? Just more curious than anything. To be honest, I’ve been a bit unplugged from anime the last few years and I didn’t even know about the existence of these two movies until they popped up as “sequels” to the Dreaming Girl movie.

I also got a little bit of tonal whiplash watching the first episode of Santa Clause because I felt like I missed something since the last thing I saw was the Dreaming Girl movie.

@Toucanbird because each movie is a separate license and crunchyroll need to negotiate for each separately and depending how the Japanese side responds to the term and bidding it might take a few years until they pop(could also be tomorrow). Especially if in that meantime aniplex sold region a bluray of those its definitely one of the reason they are not there yet since they are still accessible.

I was able to use a vpn to watch this and the previous movie on japanese netflix. no english subs tho so this is only a good solution if you understand Japanese. They need to just add it to crunchyroll already
