I'm on volume 6 now and as far as I can tell, all the people who were raised with the Kerberos divices are immortal and unkillable because of their rapid regenerative ability.

That doesn't present a problem for the stakes when it's vulnerable good guys fighting these unkillable dog soldiers. But in volume 5, where all the fighting between the underground city and the mad scientists leading this army happened, it seemed like the manga tried to make the fight between Giovanni and Heine a big spectacle, and as something whose outcome could matter.

But I was just confused, how could it? Both of them are totally incapable of being killed, of course a bullet isn't going to do anything, why would it?
