| I am not sure on whether i should give this manga series an average rating or a horrid one. Never have I read more absurd plot twists concentrated in such a short number of volumes. All the male characters in this manga series suffer from Oedipus Complex and masturbate their huge egos while all the women are thrown around as baby making machines or prostitutes. Terrible terrible manga that suffers from a unfairly small cast that's reused to carry out the terribly lame plot twists. It's as if someone took a story from the C-list movie storage and printed it out as manga. 3/10 (Horrible) |

| the art is fantastic. i thought the story was fantastic too and i quite enjoyed the manga. though a lot of the elements are up my alley so i may have some bias. i can understand why one would dislike this, but i don't personally find the twists absurd my only real problem with this, like said above, is how shion (and everyone) can so quickly forgive shunichiro, and how his perspective can change so quickly. in one volume he literally would have killed shion if the gun had been loaded, and in the next volume he's watching out for her, and she's calling him dad/father, running up and hugging him as if it were a reunion of long lost relatives |
| People have already brought up the main weakness in the manga. Characters turn around too quickly and nearly every bad characters turns good. Another one of my gripes is that Shion and Kyoko(?) were non-character after the first two volumes. However, this manga had fantastic art and outstanding pacing. |
