Ok, so my question is:

If I remember correctly she just had

Is it really because of her condition that led to it or something else that I missed ?

I think she just overused her mystic eyes. The final blast during her fight against Shiki was too much for her eyes to bear.

when she jumped out of the hospital bed and fought that monster shiki found it's way back to her via her eyes
