What does "Shin Shou" mean? Why isn't it just "Beastars 3rd Season" or something?

I think it's because this isn't even confirmed to be a new season of the TV anime, if it were then MAL would just call it "Beastars 3rd Season" until it receives an official title. but we have no idea what this is, it could be a new season or it could be an OVA, movie, etc. So they just call it "new project" for the time being which is more or less what Shin Shou means.

If it's しんしょう it literally means truth/fact etc. But if it is 新ショウ then it just means "new show". But again this might be a trick or a clever way to foreshadow something upcoming O-O

I think everyone is just overthinking it.

If it's adapting the dropout arc then "new chapter" could literally just be the title of the season because it just means the new chapter of legoshi's life from dropping out.

I want to believe they will call it something more interesting than "3rd season" but that is the norm these days.
