When will this manga "go better"?

(sorry my english, I'm originally spanish speaker)
I "always" heared about "oh, YYH is one of the best shonen" and I decided to read it like a year ago.
I'm at chapter 216, the "great arc" of the Dark Tournament is over and... that was it?
I mean, started like the Bleach beginig (boring episodic stories), next 2 arcs "meh" and then a training arc with something that resembles me to Hunter Exam (I know it's same author and I'm up to date with HxH manga), next the so hyped Dark Tournament that... it's only this, a tournament arc.
The manga will going better or I should drop it now?

It didn't reach my expectations but 8/10
Bleach focus on the side character but Yu Yu hakusho focus more on the mc both are great , but the ending Yu Yu hakusho did better and I feel like the story rushed

YYH imo was phenomenal for half of it and then it completely falls off.

I actually wrote a review that didn’t save and it’s in my notes app and I just reread it because it’s been a little while. My favorite part was after the beginning through the Dark Tournament arc, and if you didn’t like that you won’t like the last half. It becomes rushed and all the ideas that get introduced make little sense and those also get rushed by the mangaka.

The back half of the manga is embarrassing and it went from potentially one of my favorites to becoming something that had promise and failed.
