| Is that pronounciation confirmed anywhere? "Sanrin baiku" would make the most sense, but "miwa" is a correct way to read the kanji too. It could be a nod to Mt. Miwa? |
| When 2 or more Kanjis stick together, if it's a normal vocabulary (not a specific name), it would often read using onyomi. 三 has "mi" as kunyomi, and "san" as onyomi. 輪 has "wa" as kunyomi, and "rin" as onyomi. Therefore, I also think 三輪 should be read as "sanrin" instead of "miwa". I also checked the dictionary, and this reading is also used in the show. |
