Fate Series origin

Not too long ago I came to a realization that the Fate Series are based on an ADULT VIDEOGAME (visual novel). I also realized that all the dark things that you only imagined watching the anime really happened in the original. I was hyped for the Heaven's Feel, but after checking out the game I'm not sure I really want to see the upcoming anime. What about you guys?

I've played the VN and in my opinion it's better than the anime because it has a lot more content and you can play through the fate,UBW and heavens feel routes on it right now and in total has at least 50 hours of if you play all the routes.
