| My Hero Academia is pretty gooooood as a starter. I would probably also recommend Code Geass, Death Note, and Cowboy Bebop. All the popular anime are popular for a reason! :P |

| ^I agree, Code Geass got me in to Anime, and Boku no Hero Academia is a getting big for good reason, it's action packed and westerner-friendly. For stuff that's a bit further off the beaten path, I recommend Overlord (OP protagonist, like One Punch Man), Akame ga Kill! (blood and horror, like AoT), Gangsta. (fun music and action with mature themes, like Cowboy Bebop), and Hataraku Maou-sama! just cause it's fun. Best of luck!
