| I am an officer or admin or anything, so I'll keep this topic anyway Here are all of the powers already in the show Eye contact: Lelouch(Zero): The power to take over the will of a mind and give it a single command that it must obey, then repress the memories of fufilling the command.(Only one use per person[possibly two if Jerramiah cures them after the first effect was resolved, this is only a possiblilty]) Claimed by anime_g1rl C.C: Anyone who looks into her eyes would gain a deep admiration or love for her. Claimed by ReifuCC Charles de Brittania(Emperor): The power to completely enter someones memories and rearrange them, repress them, or even create fake ones. Marianne (Lelouch's mother): The power to send her own conciousness into someone else's mind, only one use.(The user's body now has no mind) I think Kagiama_Yagumi claimed it, unless he was making one of his own. That random kid at the geass base: The power to take over a person's mind only to the extent of controlling their body, they are completely concious at the time and know their surrounding, but can't control their body. Field of Effect: Rolo: The mind will completely freeze up and lose conciousness and notice of their surroundings completely for as long as it can be put up, it puts a strain on the heart, but this may be only in Rolo's case. (Rolo's Geass is known as the "Ward of Absolute Suspension", which is the ability to suspend the subjective sense of time of everyone within a given range. Those under its effect are frozen in place for the duration of its activation. When activated, a Geass sigil manifests in his right eye and projects a red sphere representing the area of effect. Its range is determined at activation; while no upper limit is given, it can at least reach several hundred meters. Physical obstacles or electronic equipment do not hinder its effectiveness, nor does it require eye contact. The same people can be frozen repeatedly.[heres the wikipedia one]) Claimed by KallenES Jerramiah Gottwald(Orangeboy): "Anti-Geass" Anyone in the area is released from the effects of geass and has their mind reset and restored. (Android eye required, I think. You may want to note the area that expands from him is blue and his symbol is an upside-down, blue Geass sign) Unknown(Geass in this catagory don't alter targets' minds like the others): Mao: Can hear the thoughts of everyone in the total maximum range of up to 500 meters when concentrating, but smaller when not. It becomes a burden if you reach the stage that you cannot turn it off. Bismark(Knight of One): Without actually reading minds he can learn an opponent's tactics and predict their next move, this is an advance type of mind reading that ignores normal thoughts and only reads the target's specific thoughts that will determine his/her next move so you can predict it. Great for battle. (I don't think it is eye contact because he doesn't keep eye contact with Suzaku during their fight, so I grouped it with Mao's, which is also a mind reading type) Yay, I only looked up Rolo and looked at episode 15 for Mao's, the rest was from memory and I haven't watched the show in months, I loved this show too much. Now for the marks, which has mine in it.... Marks(If you have a mark no ones Geass can affect you): Mark of Geass: It grants the bearer of this mark eternal life(any injury will heal and their interal time clock will stop so they no longer age) and the abillity to give Geass to others freely. By sacrificing him/herself the mark can be passed on to someone who has used their Geass to the extent of gaining it's full power and has a strong will. Claimed by lucky03, ha, hes giving you all your powers since he can do that(Unless C.C. is doing it) Anti-Geass Sign(My creaton): The bearer of this mark's life is cut in half. They make take away the power of Geass from anyone who has it, and by touching someone with the mark of Geass they can remove the mark along the burden of eternal life from them, but they must sacrifice their own mark, which will re-extend their life to it's original size. (Ain't it awesome? It would explain why their are like 50 Geass marked nuns in the vision people have but there are only 2 now, and of course the people with the Anti-Geass signs died out since their life isn't forever) Woot! That was fun, if this gets deleted I won't be happy. Anyway now all of you can submit your own ideas for Geass powers without worrying about copying others. P.S: I am an admin or officer for this Created Powers(Besides Anti-Geass Sign): Area of Effect(Never goes to the always on stage): MapleGeass: The Geass of Deleting Time, it gives it's owner the power to completely delete everyone's memories of the time that just passed, making them not even realise it happened at all. Like Rolo's they lose the sense of that time happening. Her maximum extent is 3 minutes. YinYang6: Everyone in the area but himself loses the ability to lie for 1 minute, instead of becoming the level where he can't turn it off he can extend the time it lasts each time his Geass becomes stronger, the absolute limit is one hour.The mind returns to normal after the effect transpires so it can be used on the same people mulitple times.(Funny how is seems to create a small section in which the goal Charles De Britannia had in mind is completed) Eye Contact(Never turning off stage can be solved by special contacts): ThunderKnight50: Hell Geass. He can copy the abilities of other Geass users. The problem of this Geass is in the fact that you have no special powers when first gained and in order to use it you would have to somehow figure out who has Geass. If you can find other Geass users this can quickly become the most useful and powerful Geass. (Not many specifics, so I don't know if the copying is limited or not, also I can't be sure if it's eye contact or not) DeathCow1: Simply by coming up with an appearance he may look in someone's eyes and alter their mind, imprinting that image as his own so that when they look at him, they see him as the other image instead, that image can perfectly afix to him so that even if he changes his postion the other figure will too. (Once again it is only an assumtion that this is eye contact, also I would like to suggest that in the higher levels of this Geass you can choose any object or person and make them see it as something else, working for both pranks and ingenius strategies) YinYang6(Again =P): By looking into someones eyes he may access anyone's emotions and change them at will, making people feel secure around him if needed, afraid of him if desired. This is mostly for controlling people through phycology because the right phrase during the correct emotions can make people feel like they want to obey or are too afriad not to. Although this Geass has many other conventional uses giving someone fake happiness or sadness isn't my style. Icy_Auron: Numbing Geass. All of the target's senses are drastically lowered by decreasing certain brain activity, if one or more of them is blocked (isn't in use) the brain activity will send twice the normal signals and sensitivities to the other areas, triple if two are block, quadruple if three, and so on. Ex. If the victim closes his/her eyes and covers his/her ears, that person's sense of touch, smell, and taste would increase. If the victim plugged his/her ears and opened his/her eyes, his/her sight would slightly increase. Kiyomigirl: Not nearly specific enough, it just sounds like an almighty version of Lelouch's. Spiral027: It would be smart to avoid the eye contact of the user of this Geass, because it is one of the most deadly and tramatic of all. One activated anyone making eye contact would have their conciousness moved to a dream world, in which they are surrounded by a wall of flames, which the heat can be felt from. The victim's brain will make the nerves on the body feel the pain of heat whether or not a heat source is nearby. If they look upon the dragon creating the flames their own mind will turn on them completely, searching itself for their worst fears and thrusting them in their face. They will have to experiance their nightmares amplified and feel the pain from whatever happens in the dream world. The only way to escape death is to conquor their fears. While the user does have to keep eye contact and control the dream state or else the illusion will fade, the dream world has a seperate time sence, meaning you could expreiance years of torture in only a matter of minutes. Anim3_freak: It forciably speeds up or slows down the targets thought train. They could think of a thousand things in a second, making the only limit the fact they can't move enough to fufill all their thoughts before they move on to a new one(which might look funny), or they could think extremely slowly, making them feel like they have super speed but still react to everything slower than anyone around them. Fun to watch... XxXanime_girlXxX: Anyone who is looked at by her will feel as if they were as light or heavy as she willed. They're physical ability will not dull or improve, but only techincally. (Example: The victim thinks he is now incredibly heavy, so while he isn't actually heavy he thinks that, therefore he will not know he can go faster or jump higher, and simply moved as if he were weighted down.) Theortically, if the target realizes they are their normal weight they could move normally, but the guarentee of this Geass continously prevents them from coming to that realization and deletes previous knowledge of that fact. Ryuuki6: I'll control inanimate objectes, like deads and elementals. The duration of my power is 20 mins and the maximum quantity of objects i can control is 3. Request eye contact with the object. If I use more than 2h can affect my lifetime. Winged_Wolf: Mirage Geass For my geass i need to make eye contact with the victim so they will see whatever i want them to see.(So i can get away with any trouble i cause at school....Hehe.... ;]) Amaterasu: Intervention Geass. This geass distorts the target's senses, causing it to see, feel, taste and smell what I want. It basicly casts an illusion to the target [I can basically tell him to see his guts sticking out of him {xD} and him being in hellish pain]. Up to two illusions can be active on a person at once. And each can last for no more than 169 hours. The range of the geass is 20 meters. It can be cast on several targets at once (I still haven't tested on how many =P).Direct eye contact is necessary, reflection doesn't work [meaning that if I try cast a geass on the target through a mirror it just won't work]. Unknown(Geass in this catagory don't alter targets' minds like the others): Gir: Checkmate Geass. His Geass acts like Bismark's, allowing him to read the thoughts of opponents that determine their next move. Seeming like an advanced version it can read muliple targets instead of homing in on one, but the user must have an incredible mind, allowing them to hear all thoughts and react in time. With this power he can predict an opponents moves in battle, and either incorprate this knowledge into his stratagy or use it to react in his tactics. There may also be some practical uses, one being that you can easily become a master of chess by predicting your opponent's moves and stratagy. Straw-Hat-Matt: Geass of Inner Truth. He may read into a person's mind, all the way into the deepest territories that even they cannot necessarily access, and find only a person's truest desire. (This can be used to help fufill it, to get close to a person by doing things related to it, to gain knowledge of an opponent's goal, or even to destroy it.) Luke-Sama: Eye of Beyond. Allows him to see beyond objects, similar to Bismarks in how it bypasses normal bountries. Similar to X-ray vision. (I would like you all to take note of how he said clothes first in the list) Self-Enhancing: Satsujinki_87: Yoteotyl. By mixing the energy of Geass and enhanced mental or psychic power into willpower he can create physically existing barriers or bullets launchable by telekinesis. They psychic energy lets out a presence and can be seen and touched, causing real damage and taking real form, even taking up space. This energy can also enhance Knightmare Frames, coating bullets in the energy, infusing it with the gunpower within missles and bombs to increase power, making barriers around itself and powering up the armor, and finally manipulating the energy around the robot to increase it's flexabilty, separate it and and float the parts, allow it to levitate, and even increase it's speed. (Are you ok with all of the details I added?) Telepath Geass: (It's similar to telepathy in the sense you simply must know the person is in the vicinity and think of them, then target them, and you can affect their mind.) Sinnige69: Solipsism Geass Can affect up to three people. in a group of multiple people it will affect the one (or two depending on the user's discretion) people closest to the original victim chosen. Effect: The target believes they are the only thing in existence. The target is stuck in a frozen state as if they were frozen solid in a block of ice, however rather than physically being unable to move, they are paralyzed mentally as they do not believe there is anything to move into (they are not aware of space and time). This geass will cancel any other mind affecting geass [such as Spiral027's because in effect, the fire and dragon would no longer be in existence from the victim's perspective or for anim3_freak's geass: it would not stop the target from thinking quickly or more slowly, however the target would still be unable to act upon anything, or think about anything but theirself, in a sense making the speed of their thought process irrelevant]. The victim would also be temporarily exempt from the powers of the king's geass (Lelouche's geass) unless it was a command that could be carried out without the use or knowledge of the outside world [ex. you will die X time (assuming the king's geass can make someone's heart stop)]. any long lived geass such as Lelouches would resume after the solipsism's effect has expired, unless the victim was under the influence of solipsism at the time when the command geass would have affected them [example: Lelouche V Britannia commands you to activate this panel at 4:05pm. *Solipsism is employed at 4:04pm and wares off at 4:06 pm*]. I feel I should note that even though a target is freed from any mind affecting geass, they are still vulnerable physically, that is they are no long in danger from Sprial027's fire/dragon, but nothing is stopping someone from stabbing the victim while they are frozen and oblivious. Special: if one target is chosen at the expense of choosing three targets, the user of the geass can prompt the victim into creating a fantasy world of their own and acting it out, unaware of the people around them. The user would have no power to influence the fantasy itself, as that is contingent upon the victim's desires [example Lelouche would fantasize about living in a peacful era, and begin talking to an absent Nunally and friends or something similar to that nature, or if this power was used on someone who is obsessed with money they might hallucinate a gigantic pile of money and roll around in it]. Duration: The geass will affect three people for 15 minutes, two people for 30 minutes or one person for 60 minutes. The Geass can only be used 30 minutes after it's last usage has expired (so if it was used on one person it would take 90 minutes to recharge, if it was used on three people, it would take 45 minutes etc.) Eloquent: Invisible Geass The Geass of Invisibility. My Geass will make me inviisible for about 5 minutes. It also can make others invisible if I touch them in my invisible state. My geass will stop working at immidiate when Rolo, Valencia or YinYang6 use their field effects. [added by me]Unlike other Telepath Geass it will automatically affect anyone who looked at the user or someone he touched, altering the mind so it doesn't notice them, even if their standing right there, it simply makes them ignore their existance visually. For eg. I am playing with people in my invisible state. Any one, say Rolo comes and freezes the time at the area I am included in, I will reappear. Now Valencia, If she deletes some time, I will go back to the time as she sets & then also I will reappear. Now YinYang6, He effects the place in which I am included too, I cant lie + I will again reappear. Physical Contact Geass: Hibaricloud: Rouge Geass, i'll be able to snatch the power of another geass user, and thoughts of my enemies just by touching them in the forehead withim 10secs.... by snatch, meaning not just copy but steal the 30% of the power away from the user of geass and weakened them for 5mins.. in thoughts, by snatch, meaning having the power to imprint in my mind their thoughts and deleting it from the host which will leave them, no memories about the things i've imprinted in my mind... to snatch the power, i'll use my left hand.. to snatch thoughts, i'll use my right hand and when im using my power, my right eye will have a geass mark in it... Too much usage of this Geass will stop the heart of the user perminantly. Dual Geass: WolfWarrior: Geass of the Beasts. Mine is a geass that the user has two different colored geasses one blue(right) and the other silver(left) and it has the ability to read people(there thought, if they are laying or not and if they have geass), and it gives the user the ability to shoot a beam of power from there dominant hand, it also slows down the users aging(there body ages slower, ex. 4 years pass but your body only ages 1 year), and they can talk to there spirit animal(a wolf, tiger, hawk, horse, snake, monkey, or a fish{you can pick}) ^^ [This Geass is dual, half Unknown type, half Self-Enhancing type] Crabe: Maniac's Geass This geass actually has two uses. The first is Self-Enhancing and the effect is that for every second that passes, I get 10 seconds. This have to be activated, thus it's not always active (that'd be a pain in the butt). The second use is that I can make a victim temporarily insane. They gain 1 temporary, random mental disorder that lasts for 60 minutes. This effect stacks but for every mental disorder I place on the victim, the duration is only half the original. Meaning, if I give someone three mental disorders, then the first one has a duration of 60 minutes, the second one has a duration of 30 minutes and the third lasts for 15 minutes. Now, a geass this powerful gotta have some kind of downside, right? Of course! Every time I use a power, I get a temporary, random mental disorder myself. These aren't usually that bad, but could be like paranoia or something. They last for only 10 minutes, but when I've had a total of 100 illnesses, I get one permanent mental disorder. Thus, if I've used my powers for example 500 times since I got the geass, I have 5 permanent mental illnesses. These won't disappear for any reason, except after being a victim of the "Anti-Geass" (either Jeremiah Gottwald's or Yinyang6's). [This is a Dual Geass, half Self-Enhancing, half Eye Contact I think.] |

| Whew, thanks for that. Also thats so annoying, I remembered Bismark's but I forgot to type it, thanks for telling me! Lol, I never meant for people to claim, but I defienetly don't mind it. Remember that Geass eventually get to the stage that you can't turn them off when choosing and creating though (Rolo's didn't though, but if it did it would be hell for him). Finally, remember every single Geass has to do with the mind, deathcow's was genius, you could be like a master of disguise or the best looking person in the world. WolfWarrior and Satsujiki's still make perfect sense if you think of their Geass as ways of advancing their own minds beyond the capabilites of normal humans. Luke-sama's has to do with eyes so I think it counts. Also when creating remember that in the episode where C.C. gains her powers she says her power gave her what she wanted most. Lelouch was a geinus stratagist but without people under his command his plans for revenge were usless, so he got the power to conrtol other(my favorite) so I think that Geass is a manfistation of what you desire most(Straw-Hat Matt can tell you it if you want =P). But thats just my guess. |
