| He's just about the only character who ever had to make any real effort. Everyone else has bloodline traits so was just born gifted. Lee's determination makes it hard not to love him. |

| He's the most human-like character. He loses battles, but tries realy hard to gain strength and overcome his weakness. Not to mention that up-beat personality I can realy relate to. |

| I agree with Casie. He's the most human of the characters. He acknowledges his faults and works hard to correct them. His sincerity and honesty appeals to me. I've always been one to believe that hard work and effort will get you nearly everything you want, and Lee epitomizes that ideal. I also like that despite his talent and hard work, he doesn't always win, but he doesn't give up. |

| Since a long time ago I've hated the anime protaganist stereotype of a useless, stupid moron who wins out through "Destiny" and "Willpower". As a result, I've developed a love for the opposite. Characters with balls, that truly try - wether they're the underdog or naturally talented. I've developed a love for optimistic characters who don't bog themselves down with responsibility, and aren't carried by an apparent "purpose" that they otherwise wouldn't survive without (See: Naruto). Rock Lee takes the stereotype of a failure protagonist like Naruto, removes everything that is wrong about it, and makes it all so much better. That is why I love the beautiful green beast. |

| Lee is one of those people that I always come to admire. Instead on relying on super powerful ninjutsu to aid him (Which he can't use anyway unfortunately), he uses his own, raw taijutsu power. He trains day in and day out to be the best he could be. Lee is bold and determined, and a real sweetheart too. |

| I love the fact that yeah, he has a sad childhood story, but he always smiles and laughs and looks ahead. He never really brings it up and doesn't play the "ooooh my life is terrible" card like Sasuke. I also admire his youthful spirit and determination. If anyone isn't convinced about Lee, let me just tell them this: He's been his body so hard, imagine what's underneath his jumpsuit =D |
