| I thinks it's Lordgenome. It's only logical, 'cause he said that all the lights are the enemy. I think that all the lights are the stars that the Anti-spiral controls. Also, the Gurren-Lagann looks a lot like Lazengann O_O. (Forgive me for my bad english) |

What were some of the reasons as to why the story changed from the introductory scene to the way we know it now? Otsuka: That's where we thought we were going to go when we first depicted it. However, by the time we got there it had grown so much beyond the scale of what we had originally imagined it was going to be, therefore slight differences would be noticed. in all likelyhood it was supposed to be Simon, but they changed their minds. That's why they removed it from the movie. |
| That's interesting how they changed that. When you find out about Lord Genome I also assumed it was him at the beginning, but never actually went back and checked. But looking at it again, that's definitely Simon (and Boota). Besides the voices and details in the ship and stuff the changes aren't that drastic though |
