| dahh.. yeah pretty much.. shounen are supposed to appeal more to the guys, while shojo are supposed to be for girls.. but i like to think of it as 2 diff art/plot styles, on the opposite side of the spectrum, and manga/anime falls in beween somewhere between there.. 'cause now a days, it's kinda hard to categorize anime/manga as absolutely one category and stuff.. and yeah, i checked it out.. it is shojo.. and.. i'm kinda not interested in shojo-manga these days.. >_> a lot of the plot used in shojo is repeated a LOT... pretty much love story between guy and girl.. and sometimes there's a third wheel thrown in.. or maybe another character who also likes the girl/guy.. and then triangle occurs... blahblahblah.. not interested in that kinda story... ^^|| ZOMG.. | My sis went to see the movie already >.< She said they girls AND women (with their husbands xD) were screaming whenever the guys (I'm assuming Edward and Jacob the main characters) appeared!! xDD As much as my high school friends tried to get me to read the Twilight book, <_< I refused and I still do, I don't find the book interesting at all ._. I usually don't give popular books a chance *looks guiltY* xD I gave up on reading Beast Master for yaoi mangas *-* I usually finish the ones that have 2 - 3 volumes in one sitting, but I gave up that one.. x: I agree, some shojo's, the ones beside yaoi.. *sigh* The reasons you said are pretty much why I would drop them xD Luckily I'm getting into the Josei genre, such as Eden of the East : 3 (i finished that one yesterday) |

| T____T nooo...Princess Kaisa I'm going to have to read it T^T Not only did the 2nd movie leave me wanting more details but you have read them too TT^TT now I must.. ; 3 I think theres a tv series of Twilight *should look this up* x'D Only 2 novels I know of and a entire series out there o_o..Idk I think I'm missing something, how many books are there of Twilight.. Either way I'm going to check out those 2 novels! ^-^ ::drastic change from yesterday xD:: I agree the skin felt a little out of place, well to be more honest it made me go " o__e " they did seem to pack on the powder (or did they o_o homg?! x'D) Well something good about that is..theres this 'feature' i guess i'll call it ^^ Where the sun shines on that pale skin and its a pretty sparkly ;3 xD (sounds like unicorns with the flashiness XD!, but its got much more of a vampire focused elegance to it) In the 2nd movie, they show this 'feature' again, and it looks much more prettier *___________* Since the 1st movie was a big hit, they got alot of revenue and could afford to make the 2nd movie with better graphics ^^ Those wolves made it promising ;D The 1st movie was introducing the characters, so it was lovely dovey between the lovers xD Which started the joke/parodies of it being another silly romantic.. but the 2nd movie (which I doubt any person who hates Twilight will say .-.) Is that it was jam-packed with action. o__O One scene made me jump back in my seat, fufufu~ :3 When the movie ended, I thought it was half-way through, while I was liek, "wheres the other half Oo" my mum looked over at me and said, "it sucked." LMAO. She didn't see the 1st movie, I'm guessing maybe she needed that introduction to the characters :P XD I finished this yaoi today, and the whole time it was *so far* about this deep friendship the 2 men had going on during the story's events..so i was o_o (spoilers ahead for this yaoi..) Josei is more explicit than shojou so its targeted for late teenagers and adult females. My friend said something about liking the male equivalent, seinen; thats how I learned about it : 3 |
| there are four books to the Twilight series. the reason it ended like that is because it they're following the story line. and yes, the story ended with a cliff-hanger (see what i mean by using techniques to make you want to read more?) but really, it's just a cheasy romance that's been jazzed up. the writer for twilight, does NOT KNOW HOW TO WRITE FIGHT SCENES. no really, if she just stick with the cheasy-romance, it would've been more tolerable, but i think what she did was she ventured onto the field she was less experienced at (which is fine, no problem with that, but she's writing for the general public here. if a person wants to practice their skills and further develope it, it should be for either (a)personal writing or (b) fanfiction **NOTE: THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION) oh yeah.. Last Client, i read a *part* of the manga (i think) i can't remember how it ended so i'm going to assume i haven't gotten there.. >_> dammit.. just sleep with the damn guy already X_< sry.. me and my anxiousness to get to the lemon grips me >< |
