D: I...don't really like the Wii for...some odd reason. xD And don't like many Xbox games except Halo 2, but all of my friends on there vanished so I wouldn't have any reason to play. I want the PS3 because I'm familiar with the buttons and I'm lame. Plus Fatal Frame 4 was just added to the soon-to-come lists and there's the possibility that it won't be on the 360 (the third wasn't). And because I'd get bragging rights over my brother. Mwahaha~ But the loss of the vibration function would suck. It's a major part of Fatal Frame for me. ;___; |
| This is the new trend in the next generation since lots of next gen games have huge overhead costs. It just makes more sense for a company to release it multiplatform to recover the costs. Although it's not that big of a deal this time round since the PS3 sales units relative to the Xbox360 is small. But once the platform releases in Europe, the worldwide sales should exceed the 360's by the end of the year (according to analyst predictions {yeah, I know}, Gamepro and IGN predict the same thing). So by next year the PS3 should be able to hold exclusives. LOL! I'm well aware of Xbox360's attempts to enter in the Japanese RPG maket with the release of Blue Dragon. I recall that it help push some 360 sales for that week but that was about it. It pretty much fizzled out after that. However, I'm referring to the 360's biggest market which is here in North America. Xbox and Xbox360 fans typically like action based games. Typically, the market here loves action RPGs like Elder Scrolls, KOTOR, Fable, Mass Effect (this game looks awesome btw) etc. And since North America is the 360's chief market, what type of games do you think get favoured here? And as a result of that, what type of games do you think get made for the 360? There just isn't a lot of Japanese RPG fans on the Xbox systems relative to Playstation systems. And Japan is the 360's worse market. It wouldn't make any sense for Square Enix to expend extra finances into making a game for a system with so few buyers. Fanboi? LOL, people think I hate the 360 (when I don't). It's just that the overwhelming majority of games that get released for it, just don't interest me. That's all. |
| cant we all just get along a say that all the systems are good and will sell a lot. but what zan is saying is true. Fanbase is too low in Japan. But i do applaud microsoft for trying. All that means is that i get to play some rpgs on my x360 while still be playing a lot of them on my future ps3 |

| if square enix are smart, they will release crossplatform ^^ and there are probably about as many xbox360s sold in europe as in the US, and we like rpgs and action rpgs, so it wouldnt be a bad move everything doesnt revolve around the USA you know :) and yeah, if the ps3 wasnt so ridicilously expensive i'd get one aswell, probably will when some good games are released, mgs4, ff13 etc unless they come to the xbox360 =) its about 6200SEK like 895$ so ill chill for awhile :) |

| That game and ffxiii were the only reason I'd to buy a ps3 even with the high price of it, but now with DMC4 for Xbox 360, i will definitely buy the xbox 360 console and for the ones who says that PS3 has better graphics than Xbox 360 check this out: http://www.gamespot.com/features/6162742/index.html Xbox 360 has always had the shooter games ( HAlo 3, Gears of War, PErfect Dark Zero) now it has the best action game Devil May Cry 4, the only thing that they lack is a good RPG and I'm hoping that it comes soon (May be they can also make square enix develop FFXiii for their console : P) if that happens they will take the hole market. |

Maybe only as an unlockable but he'll be there.
