| Hmm...I'm a bit weary of seconding Zetsuen no Tempest. It's not really "clever" in the way Death Note was, and I personally think it loses a lot of steam in its second half, but I guess at least give it a shot and see how you go. If you don't mind something thought-provoking but isn't necessarily fast-paced, maybe give Ergo Proxy a try. I also heard Monster was similar to Death Note in some ways, but I see it's on your hold list...maybe give it another try? Good luck, hope you get out of your anime rut soon! |
