Does watching an episode weekly ruin your experience?

I don't really mind waiting, too much of a certain anime at one time is kinda...bleh. Waiting for a new episode to come out (subbed) leaves me with something to do that day, so I like that. And I can look forward to what happens next; it's usually what gets me to like an anime in the first place.

But if it's really good I'll wait a few weeks so I can get more than one episode.

Well, it sorta extends how long I'm interested in it.
If I watch one anime at once I can only talk about it with friends for about 2 weeks max and then I get tired of it.
If it's ongoing, it's something to discuss weekly.

It bothers me if the anime episode was really good and there was a cliffhanger, sometimes though I end up forgetting the anime for a little while because of watching a different one and then I realise there's a few new episodes to watch.

Time flies when you're having fun.
