| This arc sure it's getting better, can't wait for Chapter 4 - Master Sword Academy (3rd Month of Human World Calendar 380) when they arrived in academy, they can at least use they own sword in the academy now. Kirito with black uniform and Eugeo with blue uniform. I'm more curious who these 2 girls are, anyway it seem like it's have been pass more than 163 days in the virtual world. I do hope Kirito survive and come back to reality. 5 more volumes until the ending. O_o |

Also how often does a new chapter release? If what I heard is correct, Alicization has 8 chapters, 1 side story and an epilogue, in which chapter 5 and 6 are pretty long. And I heard volume 10 had some new content not in the web version so the prospect of being 15 volumes is possible. Volume releases are around 4-5 months in between. Volume 10 came out last July and according to the afterwords of Accel World vol12, Vol11 of SAO will come out in early to middle Winter. Plus, Kawahara is doing a reboot of the Aincrad arc called Progressive. First volume comes out next month. So yeah. |

I am currently on GGO and I find the lack of Asuna x Kirito story to be exciting and a let down at the same time. Any insight on why Kawahara is doing a reboot of Aincrad? |
| I'm not sure on the details until the afterwords of volume 10 is translated because that's where Progressive was announced. My guess is that Kawahara and the fans want a proper telling of the Aincrad arc and Dengeki allowed it. Aincrad arc is pretty short and the way it was told was pretty disjointed because of the side stories, hence the reboot. There are a lot more stories that can be told in the two years spent in Aincrad. So yeah. |
