Modern Day Military vs The Gaean Armies of Escaflowne

From what I've seen in Escaflowne and having to watch the series over and over again which is some of the best anime series I've watched ever since. Until now, I couldn't resist the thoughts out of my mind on just how well the Gaean Armies, mainly the Zaibach Empire or even Basram and several other nations would fare against the Modern Day Military from Earth, or others would say, The Mystic Moon.

It would be awesome to see a Modern U.S Carrier Strike Group get transported to Gaea at sea and stop the Zaibach Empire from taking over the world and stop the Alteration Fate Engine and stuff like that. I would definitely pay to see something like that! :D

And you know what? There was actually a Playstation cutscene of Escaflowne where Van, Hitomi and Merle on top of Escaflowne along with Folken's Floating Fortress and Dilandau were teleported to Earth for their first time and ends up above the skies of Tokyo! Only when the Japanese Air Self-Defense Force has scrambled F-15J Fighter Planes to give a warning to Escaflowne which would have been really interesting to see how the authorities would react on the News.

Tell you what, this show had a lot of potential to show more episodes and somethings that were left unanswered in that show..

So yeah, like the title says. Whether the Modern Military ends up on Gaea to battle against the Gaean Army or the Zaibach Empire Fleet invades let's say.. Tokyo, L.A or New York all of the sudden.. What do you guys think? :)
