| I noticed everyone keeps saying table looks, so im assuming its still running on MyISAM, which it shouldn't, it should run InnoDB, and judging by activity it should run XtraDB on percona (drop in replacement for MySQL). If its full text searches that you're worried about, sphinx is alwyas there to help with solving that problem with InnoDB. Row level locking is better than table locking. Increasing RAM won't be too costly too to help improve buffer pools and cache queries. |
