The Portuguese yaoi blog site blyme-yaoi.com posted that Amazon Kindle has added several yaoi titles for download. Miyamoto Kano's Two of Hearts and Say Please English editions are available now.
Here's the blyme-yaoi story translated into English:
According to the site Boys-Luv.com, Animate USA is committed to bringing yaoi to the Kindle Store from Amazon.com. The Kindle is a device for reading digital (e-books), which has lately helped move the comic market by offering an alternative to printed books to a more convenient and inexpensive version. At least this statement is true for Americans who are awaiting the release of Kindle DX that promises even more features (including larger screen). Already here (in Brazil),to import the Kindle can cost a small fortune.
However, you can buy and download e-books for the Kindle PC version using Amazon U.S.. I did the test with Aya Fujii, Mikan & MOMO Peach Boy, and I can say it works, though it failed to eliminate the "rate of transmission by Whispernet" which should be avoided by a non-existent "download" option. The PC experience isn't without a sense of loss, the movable characters, it's something like reading a legalized scanlation, despite all the care in adapting the artist's work to the media screen. However there are some GLOBL manga that can only be found in English by digital media, such as the GREAT games with me and Tina Anderson's novels and baratinhas YaoiPress who walked out like water in the desert.
Well, explained the mechanics of the thing, let's go to the Animate Yaoi titles. They are:
July 2010:
Youka Nitta - "Sound Of My Voice - Golden Goose Part 1" (Boku No Koe)
Youka Nitta - "LOL Theater
Youka Nitta - "Embracing Love Vol.14 (Japanese)" (Haru wo Daiteita)
Shiuko Kano - "P.B.B. Play Boy Blues - Part 1 "
Natsuho Shino - "Oh my god! Vol.2 "
For more information about these titles, please visit Animate or the new website for Youka Nitta. That's right, Nitta has a new site, in English, which aims to promote their work abroad. On the site you will find news and release schedules of the author, goodies like wallpapers and a forum. Join www.nittayouka.com and check it out.
For those who are interested, the Portuguese blog site blyme-yaoi has posted a pod cast titled: Clichés.. or not, which cites Miyamoto Kano's Rules and Walker Universes in the discussion. Featured is Aline, the Admin for the Orkut Club: Universo Rules.
Also, Aline wrote a article about the Rules Universe. You can check it out here.

Deb Aoki wrote up a little item about recent Yaoi-Con:
"Despite the major publishers cutting back on their Yaoi-con presence, many comics creators were showing off their self-published efforts at this year's show. Several pro artists made return visits to Yaoi-Con, including Tokyo-based manga-ka Kano Miyamoto who created an exclusive English edition of a new doujinshi (self-published comic) featuring characters from her Rules series just for Yaoi-Con 2010. Jo Chen (Buffy the Vampire Slayer cover artist) was also there, selling her gorgeous prints and art books." - Deb Aoki
In a story posted Friday, Noivember 12th 2010 on Anime!Anime! this March, 37 publishers are in the process of launching a new digital manga site for North America.
Among the 37 participants listed, three publishers Libre, Take Shobo (Reijin) and Tokuma Shoten (Chara), print past and current Miyamoto Kano titles. Perhaps in the near future we may be seeing newer releases translated in English in an expedited manor.
You may recall at the end of September Libre sent out numerous C&D orders to various Scanlation groups to have their materials removed. It was mentioned that their titles would be available in an E reader format for Amazon's Kindle, several of their licensed works are currently available for the Kindle published under the name Animate U.S.A..
