Does anyone know what's happening with episode 23's dub?

Gachiakuta episode 23 is late to be dubbed, and I'm hoping the reason is something that'll be resolved quickly. I really want this season's dub to be finished soon, and to finish the season.

@AMAN2410 I'm a dub viewer for most media. Also, that doesn't answer my question about what's going on with the dub for episode 23.

It's common practice for the dubbing studios to take leave during the festive period (Christmas until new year). You can expect the dub to continue either tomorrow or the week following that. Hope this helps!

@Galamir913 It does, thanks. If the episode's not available in dub by tomorrow, then hopefully, it will be by next Saturday.

Sub vs dub war in 2026 is crazy. 98% of the anime’s I watched was subbed. But there are times when the dub imo did better or did just as good voicing the characters. In this case I personally preferred the dub but I didn’t wanna wait a few extra weeks.

so you'll rather wait for about a month or so for tha dub to come out and face the chances of getting spoilers, rather than read the subtitles. got it. i used to be like that, than i decided watching anime the same day the sub airs is better than ruining your experience by getting spoilers or waiting for 2-4 weeks for the dub to release.

So long as there is man, there will be divide.
Makes me think of Right in Two by Tool, great song, great message.

But the original work is the authentic experience. Which to sub purists is basically like being the objective truth, as opposed to listening to the dub which feels like an abridged piece that is crass at best.

Yes how it works is the dub actors take a break during Christmas and new years weeks so the fall dubs will always be done late although if for any reason you find dubs during the breaks they are pre recorded

@MikuXLegend So if I'm reading this, and another reply I responded to correctly, the most logical scenario is that episode 23 comes out Saturday or next Sunday?
