Finally.. an anime with a 30-something yr old MC

I never seem to come across anime with characters that are significantly older than a teenager so this was refreshing to see. I also really like the anime so far and don’t understand the low rating.

I also don’t understand the low rating. I have enjoyed it a lot. A nice, mellow change of pace from other stuff I watch.

Top manga review says the girl is trash in the beginning, so that might have something to do with it. lol

Trust me their are plenty of anime’s out there with characters that are adults. This show ain’t bad but I find is kinda dull

Imo there are much more interesting adult based anime out there

People were not happy with Shizuka in the first episode for saying she would claim assault if he looked. (Or something similar, I don't remember the specific situation.)

Which if she actually did that would be horrible, but I think they're ignoring the fact that this was a young girl in the woods with a guy she just met who had a moment of freaking out about being exposed. I don't think it was fair to assume that's something she would rationally be okay with doing once the panic died down.

And then after that she was very pushy about getting him to teach her, which I don't think would've been quite as hated without the first issue happening.

I don't think many of the people bothered by these things kept up with it after that. Shizuka isn't a bad person, has become much more considerate of Gen's wants, and those two have gotten very close despite Gen's attempts to remove himself from society.
