I'll explain why I was chosen, and it might be a bit long, but please listen. I've been a freelancer from the beginning, and that hasn't changed. At 37, I wrapped up my apprenticeship and stepped into the anime world with a work called "Hiiro no Kakera." I learned how to create hybrid animation with 3D in a project called "Aquarion Logos," and after that, I switched to a 3D company for just one year, contributing to image boards for "Altered Carbon" and such. My goal was always Manglobe. I honed my skills on Episode 6 of "GANGSTA." and "Samurai Flamenco," among others. I was aiming for a hybrid of 3DCG and hand-drawn animation, but as everyone knows, Manglobe ended up closing down. In the midst of that, J.C.Staff became a long-term partner, commissioning me for storyboards and direction throughout the year. However, since I'm relatively unknown and don't have standout achievements as an animator, I thought it might give a bad impression, so I asked to keep it under wraps. Then, when the consultation for One Punch Man Season 3 came up, I focused on incorporating a new workflow—something I discussed in CGWORLD, bridging 3D and 2D workflows—to squeeze out even one more second of production time. I sincerely apologize for keeping quiet about this. The team is giving it our all on site. I can't discuss details about the production, but I'm open to answering what I can within limits." |

Well, Most of their works would need you to go incognito in the browser to watch them. And not something you'd really wanna be talking with other people. This seems to be their first series director role on an high octane action anime. Their most other "PG" works as director were slice of life. They said they were mainly talented in integrating 2d and 3d. Thats why they may have been chosen for this role. I've watched Dead Mount Death play, where they are credited as the Key animator of 1st episode. The 1st episode was by far the best episode of that show. And looking at their speciality, they must have been part of the first act where a 2d character fights a 3D skeleton monster. In the end, I dont know if they are good or bad. But I'd rather watch their work at display first before calling them bad. |

| This can be a good thing like how it happened to bocchi the rock and frieren. Iir the director was not famous or anything, but he did a great job on both. Not saying this is gonna be the case for opm 3, but the possibility isn't zero. |

@Yuu_Kanzaki Dude it's never the same, first of all Keicihiro Saito was a very good episode director before he became the general director and he is one of the names that Fukushi trusted him the most

| @giantpudding Just because someone animates Hentai doesn't exactly make them a pervert. There is usually some separation of what someone does for their job and what the person themselves is like. I don't know anything personally about this guy, and I wouldn't expect to as I've never met him. But don't immediately assume the "adult" type of content in a game like Cyberpunk or GTA, or animated stuff like Hentai was made by a pervert as many people don't get to choose the projects they work on. You either do your job or you quit, and most people would take the job as they need to have income to live. Fun fact, making Hentai is totally legal, but being a pervert in real life can get you in prison, those anime with the "I was falsely accused" cliche is actually thing that can happen for real. |
