Help with alliances (spoilers up to episode 22)

I'm losing track of the timeline. What is taking place in the past and what's taking place currently? Are all of the 2D episodes in the past? Also who on earth is allied with who? Is Nice actually a hero and who is Rock-is he a bad guy? Lol as you can see I'm pretty confused, so if someone could explain it to me that would be great!

There's literally a timeline two threads below the one you've just made. Just read it in its entirety.

There are no heroes and villains; only flawed people who clearly should not be given godlike power.

E-Soul and Dragon Boy work in MG (Mighty Glory), under Rock. Ghostblade terminated his contract after the Ruins Incident and is now independent.
Lucky Cyan and Queen work in DOS, under Micky.
Ahu and Loli work in FOMO, under Zac. The Johnnies were also a part of FOMO, but were later transferred to DOS after the Ruins Incident.
Nice worked for Treeman, under Shang De. Lin Ling's current employment status is unclear.
Hero X is independent.

The corporations manage heroes and work under the Commission to prevent the rise of new Zero. They each also have their own goals:

Rock wants to resurrect/create a new Zero. He wants to create a new god, but one that would not be corrupted by Fear. Dragon Boy is proven to be able to spit out certain amounts of Fear, but it's unclear how far this immunity can go.
Micky wants to maximize profits of DOS and doesn't care about morality. He always takes care to shift the blame on someone else and uses others to keep his own hands clean.
Shang De is gangster/gambler-like in his methods. His current goal is to bring down Rock and E-Soul, because he blames them for Shang Chao's death. He seems the most proficient in manipulating Fear.
Zac seems rather indifferent about everything that's happening. His stated goal is to create and uphold a free platform for heroes to express themselves. He's not explored as thoroughly as other CEOs yet.

where did u get the info about Johnies moving to DOS, was it on the post credit scene of ruins incident. Ik we can infee lol went to fomo because of tomorrow branded car but maybe I just the johnies one

@Aslan56 Aside from it being heavily implied in the after-Ruins-Incident scene compilation in episode 20, it was also directly stated in several official spaces of To Be Hero X. One of them is for example the official Japanese timeline.
