I would argue you need a balance. If you are always comfortable then you that is a sign you are not developing. Conversely if you are always uncomfortable then you will become stressed which eventually leads to burnout. What you need is to feel comfortable some of the time but then have those uncomfortable moments often enough that you are own your toes and have chances to grow. Think of it this way, feeling uncomfortable is a form of stress. This stress is your stimulus for growth but too much stress in your life will do you in so you gotta find that middle line.

Nothing to change in my life in general. Work, game, anime, eat, sleep, repeat.

Life is a single-time experience, so it doesn't matter where and how you're moving; you're still moving towards the permanent end.

Depends on how you confront it.

To many it is necessity what drives them to reach out and get better, maybe a bad economic situation, a heartbreaking split or a sport where only one can win. This usually press people on get as best as they can, or they will fail.

But it can also happens that people on those situation just kind of crash, and instead of working on themselves or even doing something, they just stop and give up entirely.

it's good to get out of your comfort zone every now and then. baby steps are important, don't throw yourself into the deep end before you know how to swim.
i struggle with this myself still, but it's healthy to at least try something, you might end up happier than you were before.

Sometimes it can help, but only if it is something good. Something uncomfortable could also become a distraction (physically and mentally).

If it's unrelated to my goals, then it's just a nuisance, something to be rid of. As for the unchanged part, either choose to get the same thought after a year has passed or do something consistently for a year and see how that turns out

Apparently you should get up early to be more productive, doesn't apply to teens though.

Every shounen anime arc we watching begins with discomfort. The hero loses, stumbles, doubts and then moves forward .

Personality wise I would say I have changed very little, for me and my current age now to like in my teenagers, not a lot has changed.
