Though with "Spice and Wolf" I don't really put too much stock into the type of clothing fictional Anime Characters wear in fantasy themed Anime, Shit like bikini armor and female characters going around in countless seasonal series wearing modern panties doesn't ever really feel that Authentic. lol I was simply commenting on the fact that the story seems to revolve around an agrarian society and having no complex feudal systems or knighthoods. But if you just go by what things look like, I guess you can say it does look like around 1400 or 1500. |

| @thewiru No sir, they did not... the Sultan of the Ottomans was seen as "Caliph-i-Islam' and their state the center of the Muslim world; with the Holy Land and Mecca & Medina as places of pilgrimage + Istanbul as a center of Turkish Islamic culture. The defeat of the Greeks (fall of Constantinople) in 1453 is considered the fall of the last remnant of the old Empire but it was seen as the fall of a Christian empire and of Christendom in a sense.... do not try to verify these interpretations on the internet, it takes many years of reading history. I have some books I can recommend- but: How is that for an OT reply? |
