Science SARU will be known as the studio which makes the shounen animes which has goofy aspect and absurd plot

First Dandadan, now Sanda. The common thing about them is they have absurd plot with goofy aspects. The characters are fun to watch and the plot while being totally random has some of the best plots that just works together, arcs that will be reminded by people. Oh yeah and Science Saru will pop off animating this.


My mind is telling the opening to be done by Creepy Nuts. It just has to be them. Creepy Nuts x Sanda is just inevitable at this point.

try checking out some of the other works they have done. they didn't spawn out of nowhere last year

Love it. I think there are way too many Shonen which are hyper serious just for the sake of it.

And Science Saru got the perfect style for just fun, fast paced Action and crazieness. Hope they continue this path.

Science SARU had already made a name for themselves before they worked on Dandadan. A few shounen adaptations in the last few years aren't going to change their reputation.

They're also working on the new Ghost in the Shell adaptation, I highly doubt that one would be "absurd" and "goofy"... But then again, I may be wrong. They seem to be versatile and somewhat unpredictable.

Holy shit, I nearly passed on this while trying to whittle my to-watch list down to manageable size because the synopsis sounded so clunky and bad. Thank goodness I took a second glance. This looks bananas!

@perseii I get the impression they are doing a more direct adaptation of the GITS Manga, which does have a reputation for being a lot goofier than everything that came after the 1995 movie, which was kinda doing it's own thing but set the tone for all adaptations thereafter.
