... Can anyone breakdown and spoil how Onigoroshi compares/differs to its live action adaptation?

I personally enjoyed it for what it is as an incredibly simplistic hitman revenge story after his family gets killed.
With amazing brutal action (beautiful choreography and camera-work) and heartfelt bittersweet reuniting with his older daughter 12 years later after coming out of a coma and practically killing all of the villains involved in his wife's death and failed murder of his daughter... it was pretty awesome as a fun action revenge movie. I cried upon his death.

Otherwise, just spoiling the whole manga would be appreciated as well.
Since I can't read Japanese yet, and the manga unfortunately isn't translated or licensed.

my experience watching the live action, I literally compared it to a Japanese John Wick.

If I have to applaud something to the Korean and Japanese is their choreography, which from beginning to end looks splendidly masterpiece (not like the current ones that are pure CGI).

now the comparisons: one could say that basically Sakata's characters were inspired by John Wick; because if we look at their release date we can notice it: John Wick came out in 2014, while OniGoroshi's manga came out in 2020. I know that Wick is not Japanese but American. . but here is the comparison (so you can see it with your own eyes hehehehehe).

John Wick - - - - - Shuhei Sakata
both left to be hired killers for his family and he is again when for them to seek revenge.
Car: Mustang Mack 1 1969 - - - Mustang Mack 1 1971
fight: both are excellent hand-to-hand combatants.
weapons: John is very good with weapons - - - Shuhei uff is unstoppable both with his weapon (must have a name that kind of knife)
It can be said that the author of Oni Goroshi was inspired by John wick for his work.

I know the forum was about manga vs live action comparison but nobody has read the manga (unless you know Japanese since there is no English or Spanish translation), so it's very difficult to ask for a comparison without anyone having read the original material in the absence of translation.

It’s time to ditch the text file.
