What did you think of this volume?
| Just finished reading volume 12. This volume mainly focused on Saki's emotional struggles while confronting her blood-related father. Tbh, I didn't really enjoy this one as much as the other volumes. Felt like the overall drama concerning her dad was totally unnecessary and I'm not really satisfied with how it concluded. But still it wasn't all that bad cuz Yuuta and Saki finally got to go on a trip to a hot spring inn with the approval of their parents lol. It was overall a wholesome trip as expected of this series cuz they were mainly focusing on their studies while at the inn. Still, the author managed to force some fanservice scenes for the readers haha. It seems like the author recently went on a hot-spring resort tour in Atami and visited some museum and thought, 'why not make Yuuta and Saki do the same thing?', cuz all the descriptions felt oddly realistic. After moving on from complex feelings concerning her father, Saki looks a lot more cheerful and full of energy. She's determined not to lose out on anything anymore and according to her diary entry, she's planning to propose to Yuuta and ask her parents for permission after achieving whatever that she's trying to achieve. Looking forward to reading the next volume. As always, the illustrations done by Hiten-sensei for this series are spectacular. Might as well post the volume 12 cover here for appreciation.  |
