| Episode 1 Mona just doesn't give up there as she's hellbent on making sure every boy in the school falls to her charm. But Medaka is a steel type whose mind just won't bend to her will. Whether it be as an escort to the nurse's office over a fake illness or being around her in gym when her shirt gets soaked by accident, there are plenty of opportunities. This figures to be one of those shows where the only thing that's different is Mona's attempt to use her charms on Medaka, only to get thwarted. It was alright, but not something that's sustainable without some semblance of a story to go along with it. |

| Is there some reason other than instantly killing the story Kuroiwa doesn't say he's training to be a monk? Is it something to be embarrassed about in Japan? Or is he secretly pervy and enjoys edging? |

| WOO HOO! As I recall, this sort of thing happened to me all the time when I was in high school. ALL. THE. TIME. (However, I am an Old and my memory may be slightly embellished by the years.) Nonetheless, this is definitely my kind of trash and I am here for it. (Although I am already rooting for that tomboy in the background.) |
| Yeah this wasn't great. Who did the character designs for this? When they have to tell you she's oh so cute because you can't tell by looking at her you know something has gone seriously wrong. There's absolutely nothing special about the way she looks for an anime high school girl. And the show wasn't funny either. |

| Episode 2 Things are just getting repetitive here as Mona continues to try and fail at wooing Medaka here. And then there's the school festival coming up with Mona and Tsubomi being chosen by drawing lots to represent the class for the festival, which isn't exactly good news for Medaka as now Mona will be trying to organize the festival in order to try and win him over. This show just continues to do the same things over and over, and it's clear that I'm impervious to whatever this show throws at me since it's quickly losing its appeal. |
| They wore the joke out in episode 1, now they're just beating a dead horse. I actually hoped this one would be good, but may be my first drop of the season. I have a new years resolution to uphold after all. |

| Episode 3 Mona is pulling out all the stops, even going as far as to dress up as a bunny girl, and unfortunately for her Medaka walked in while she was in that getup, and had to hide when Tsubomi walked in as well. Not even that close contact could break through Medaka's mean look move. So in the end, the class went with a bunny cafe, but kept things simple and modest by wearing bunny ear headbands and bunny t-shirts. That moment with Medaka as a bunny girl was great, but that was just about it. |

| 2 episodes in... the comedy gimmick isn't working. Well, it did at first but, as soon as they revealed Medaka's reasoning for not being charmed- with him telling some side-characters about it-, it just became uninteresting. Medaka doesn't really react in a way that would reflect Mona's antics in a comical way, or lead to some comical misinterpretation-- he just simply fights the boner then looked annoyed and that's it. Then Mona would also just be annoyed by it, which in turn makes ME feel annoyed by all of it. xD This is more of a 'comical' Romance than a Rom-Com with working comedy bits. It's not giving me a strong 'Drop' vibe yet, but it's definitely going to the back burner for now. |

| damn, her friend is really scummy. I mean Mona's kind of scummy because she is just trying to make everyone like her, but I kind of giver he a pass because she actually does like Medaka. Medaka is scummy because he knows these girls are hitting on him and he won't just straight up tell them that he is trying to be celibate. |
| Ever since Asahi got involved, and the other side characters as well at some point, this slowly had its fairly entertaining moments. Unfortunately, the show just doesn't seem to know how to do situational gags, especially with multiple characters. Instead of putting Mona and Medaka in situations due to the side characters' involvement, they are often just distractions to them as they go about their usual redundant cheesy stuff. Not sure if the source material was also limited when it comes to executing comedy, but the show sure as hell is. 5.5/10 - Improvement came too late, and not even sufficient. +0.5 for Asahi <3 |

| This could have been a lot better if they didn't wear out the whole "I'll seduce him, and for some reason he refuses to tell girls he is a celibate monk in training thing." 6/10 |
| Despite its flaws, and there are some, I'll still give it a 7/10 for the cuteness it had. |
