| Watching this show reminded me of "Shokugeki no Souma" and Momo Akanegakubo the sweets maker. I remember one of her creations and how it looked like a castle made of sweets. When I saw the MC's creation in ep 1, it was so over the top and immodest, that I immediately thought of Momo, it was so fun and honestly a very enjoyable ahow. |

My only problem with the show is that for something that the main selling point is character who makes sweet stuff he didn’t do a lot of that.
| @permavirgin415 Well if we get a season two, he might have the oppurtunity to make sweets. However the timeline, his position of authority and other circumstances need to be take in to consideration. I was pleasently surprised, this wasn't just a comfy and wholesome show, but did tackle some of the issues of living in those times. Its like a dumbed-down "Ascendance of a Bookworm". |
