| this is ridiculous i tried to add two manhwas that i read from ridibooks and both are denied, ridibooks is a proper publisher and have published many manhwas, in baka-updates website ridi have published 1270 works so far, what is the reason its not in the publisher list? i have read the guidelines as to what can be added in MAL database and the manhwas from ridi fits the criteria, but they get denied simply because MAL doesnt want to acknowledge Ridi as a publisher somehow, its not some indie artist, its a company. | I second this! Yeah, it's ridiculous! Ridibooks, Bomtoon and Mr.Blue usually publish/serialize manhwa titles first before they even get on Lezhin, Tapas, etc. I don't understand why these 3 are still not whitelisted. I've been going on about including these 3 in previous threads too (example: https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=2112201). I really hope they'll soon be included in the whitelist. BUT then they want physical copies first and published by "reputable publishers" in their country of origin at that. 🙄 They should also share a whitelist of their so-called "reputable publishers" so those who submit stuff would be more guided. |
