Without translating the whole thing bit by bit, Shinohara's comments on the anime from the website's staff/cast page say the following:
-He thought about an anime many times while writing manuscripts for WW chapters and believed having voices/movements to the series could make it even more of a blast.
-This is his 3rd anime adaptation, and this time around, he decided he would be closely involved in the anime's production, checking the script and storyboards himself. He apologizes (to the production staff) for being so thorough but believes sharing his realizations and fixations as the original author with the production staff will benefit the quality of the anime.
-He says the audition process was scrupulous and they assembled the best cast possible, so fans should rest easy. He mentions Miharu has not been cast yet.

The entire voice cast has changed since the voice comics so I think that last bullet point is partly to assure us that the new cast are deserving successors. |
