On the VOCALOID Synthesizer Wiki page for this music video (found here: vocaloid.fandom.com/wiki/Reboot/JimmyThumb-P) it gives an in depth description of the plot, including the following:
"Miku bears witness to [Zimi's] death and it traumatizes her. Miku blames herself and [Miku and Luka] eventually go their separate ways.... Luka, who blames herself for Zimi's death as well and is angry at Miku for abandoning her...."
Did anyone else interpret their feelings a bit differently? I thought in the funeral scene, when Miku exclaims something, she was BLAMING Luka for Zimi's death (because Luka "started" the fight with her friendly shove, and because Miku can't handle the thought that she might be to blame). Luka in turn seems shocked (and hurt) that Miku is blaming her (I figured the thought of blame hadn't even crossed Luka's mind at that point) and that leads to the two of them avoiding each other for the next decade.
Anyone else have any thoughts on this topic? Did Jimmy Thumb-P ever give an interview explaining the plot of this video? |
