It's a bit amusing seeing the teachers so lost about who killed Enrico. Not that I can blame them.

I know mages are rather promiscuous but the Sword Roses feel weirdly close to becoming some sort of weird polyamorous blob...

The stuff with Ashbury was the definite highlight of the volume for me. I didn't think we would see her die. RIP.

I love how the author has added the upper class men sub arcs. I think the point is to show how messed up the magical society is and that it needs reform. Even the under class men get their sad backstories.

Currently reading the English release of vol 10 that dropped in January. So far, volumes 7-10 are a page turner!
