I mean his father scolded him everytime he focuses on the sweets. and yes it's an average isekai I can't dispute that. |

Unless he has the funds for it, he is less likely to bake any sweets, as you guys pointed out. For that to happen, he needs to earn it and so we get this kind of series. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

It is about the isekai-ed person working towards and fighting for his dream to become a new Gourmet in this new world, it is not about him already being this, hence why the show is about him establishing a base and funds for his dream. |
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating. |
