As the title says. This special isn't connected to Pokemon (2019) other than when it released, since it takes place in a different timeline, and should probably also be listed under "other" and not "side story" but that's another topic really. If Mezase Pokemon Master doesn't say 2019, this definitely shouldn't say 2019.

They still have Pokemon (2023). They dont really care

Trying to watch all available anime series so you won't have to anymore, the list of anime I can recommend is still in progress, tho
