I don't want to search it up in case those Google "recommended questions" thing just blatantly spoils a huge part of the whole anime.

I heard it's noncanon. Hesitant to watch it as it isn't dubbed so wondered if I'm going to miss a small detail that's actually important or not

Mayuri Judgement non canonically takes place after Season 2 and the Kurumi Star Festival OVA, and sure, you can watch the movie any time

there's a 15 sec Kurumi scene at the end... so it is worth watching (jokes aside I realized the ending Kurumi dialogue might be a foreshadowing about the big reveal we get about Kurumi and Shido in DAL V)

its not related to the story, out of all the volumes, mayuri judgement is special to anime only, though there was a one shot version which was only a few pages long, about mayuri in their daily lives

i personally liked wouldn't have recommended mayuri judgement, if it wasnt for the ending

the best part is the ending and after watching the movie, the credits with the song is gold

Note: dont skip until the last second
i watched the movie twice and found out i missed some stuff at the credits

the version i watched didnt have song translation in it so i could only make out about 20% of what the song meant and its still gold

i still listen to the song even now, maybe at 140 replays?

Not exactly necessary for the story but the movie itself is surprisingly good and it's not very long being around an hour
