Ok now I properly fuck with this show I think it's proper sick like maybe better than P4. P4 was sick too and it had me watching some eps on repeat cuz they were too funny buuuuut I wasn't a fan of the ending and the way it was turning out ngl.

However P5 it had a good touch of comedy but damn I loved the seriousness and covertness and intricacy of all. Characters seemed sound af too like ya would wanna chill with em irl, some quality themes in there.

So yeah that's why I think 5 is better dunno if others think the same lol

I think it was a really good anime and I would recommend to anyone who likes mystery, comedy, and action.

imma be blunt as a person who had put in 150+ hours into Persona 5, the anime just felt to fast paced and skimmed past a lot of scenes so it really felt like watching a montage more than a story, the animation was a bit wanky too, but the anime itself isnt the end of the world imo P4 has a much better representation of the vg in the anime

Yeah I put 0 hrs so I couldn't give a shit about that, was just a quality show and not boring at all and for me that's chill yano

I don't know , I felt dissapointed every step of the way and that effected my enjoyment of it , going from a game that has so much style and flair to a an anime that's so bland I'm comparison felt meh, banger music though

I think the addition of Makoto was unnecessary. I absolutely hate how she was written, it felt like a lot of the times the main character didn’t really add anything after she joined because Makoto kinda became the boss and organised everything. Not only Jokers role was replaced by her a lot of the times, but also Morganas role as the healer and co-‘organiser’ (which is addressed in the anime though, kinda)

Additionally, everyone else had like a traumatic upbringing or event happen to them and her only issue was that she sometimes felt useless.

And the fact that she coincidentally is the sister of the woman tasked to investigate/prosecute the phantom troupe? It’s too much. It made Sae less of a mystery/threat.

A lot of the times it feels like she’s a little OP, she’s the most intelligent, she has better healing abilities, she is perfect in organising heists, which is a thing the others had to learn first and she was just able to do it.

It also bothers me how badly she treated the Kamoshida thing. Not only was her character written to ‘not have known anything about it’, even though she is the student council president, but she also victim blamed Ann in one of her fist scenes and (if I remember correctly) never actually apologises for it (on screen).

I think her story would have been better if she didn’t join the Phantom Thieves but stayed more of a side character. Or maybe if she’s been introduced a little earlier or would have been more present in the beginning, it would feel more natural to have her in the group. But she just got thrusted into the story and it felt unnatural, together with her (in my opinion) badly written character.
