| Chainsaw Man's absurdity and (sometimes) stupidity are part of its charm. It gets batshit-crazy to ridiculous degrees during certain moments and features some ludicrous humor scenes as well. I guess you could call moments like the sharknado chapter and the burger shop chapter "stupid". CSM is stupidity done right. |

| Truthfully the premise is what put me off this manga at first, but I really liked it once I started reading it. |

| Chainsaw Man is a story that can be experienced multiple ways (as the previous comments prove). The main character is very simplistic and doesn't understand the events going on around him which means you can, just like the MC, ignore the context and symbolism (of which there is a lot) or not. In the end though, it's a wild ride which a lot of people have enjoyed so far. |
