Anyone else disturbed that the nation of tribal people being hunted by "morally superior species" is named after the country which hunted, enslaved and killed thousands of tribals.

The elves are like tribals living on the bounty of the land and are connected to the spirits and nature. The humans are taught by the religious zealouts that they are superior to the Barbarian and enslaving them is a God given right like a certain real life religious zealouts which defended segregation and slavery. Let's pitt that aside.

That elven village is named after Canada which treated the natives as cattles, killing children enmasse in institutes of learning, no less. All Canadians knew about it but kept quiet and there is still a significant portion of them who detest natives.

I find the name disgusting and wonder if the author did it intentionally?
