I heard that the anime ended on volume 3, there should be enough source material for 1 or more seasons i assume. But whether or not it will get renewed; that we dont know.

There won't be, because the anime is only fo r the LN promotion and it rolves around random events on the LN.

Has this clearly been stated that there won't be any further seasons

6 volumes? Dude, there's 18. Only 5 have been translated, with the translation for volume 6 right around the corner.

What, did you think Yen Press was actually up-to-date on a translation? Pfft.

Three main questions come to mind when considering an anime being renewed.

- Is there enough source material? Yes, the anime adapted up to the end of volume 3. There are currently 18 volumes of the novel series, though the official English translation from Yen Press is way behind (sasuga Yen Press, you're so good at being consistently slow).

- How did the anime do financially? Before it was adapted, the LN and manga series were quite popular in Japan, and because of that the anime was actually quite profitable, though I don't have any exact numbers for you (sorry). It also worked wonders for source material sales, as per the usual.

- How busy is the studio and/or production committee? I don't know about the production committee, but C2C don't have much on their plate.

The chance is there, at least. I can't really say it's particularly high, but it's not particularly low, either.

By the way, don't listen to the people saying no while using "the anime was advertising" as the reason. Every anime adaptation is advertising, that's the fucking point.

Yup, I have not read the LN but how they randomly animated each episode like there's no tomorrow was a sad way to end this series when I really love the 1st episode.
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

I actually think the chance is very high. Not this year, probably not next year due to this ******* virus, but still they will eventually make a sequel. Why?

Firstly, in contrary to some people mentioning above, we actually have far more source material than enough to make *several* more seasons. The Japanese light novel already has about 15-ish volumes already (sorry I don’t remember the exact number).

Secondly, and more importantly, notice the scene at the end of the final episode. It is literally an introduction to Amnesia, one of the most important characters in the stories following the first season. If the studio wasn’t planning on a second season, why on earth would it add that short scene there?

To intrigue the readers, so they’ll want to read the LN.

Honestly I think a season 2 is possible. Studio C2C doesn't seem to have any other projects planned up so I think they have the time for another season.
As stated above, the anime ended with volume 3. But there's still A LOT more volumes past volume 3 and so much more source material to make a couple more seasons. Some episodes from the anime were also taken from volume 5.

The ending of the last episode also introduced a new character, Amnesia, which is pretty much the main focus for the majority of volume 4 (or the entire volume iirc)

I'm running out of COPIUM please release a second season. There's so many good chapters I want to see get animated too.

And lastly, why is Yen Press taking so long to print Elaina volumes? Smh Japan is at volume 17 and we only have 5 printed. Come on.

Mostly because I could never get behind Elaina as an MC. There were a few very good episodes but I found most of the show to be very average.
