I think we might be getting the final chapter early next year, since the illustrator Loundraw is busy working on his own project that's set to release this year. Any thoughts?

Tbh I'm just hoping he finished this. After not getting an update for a while I read the novel and it was really good, would loved to see how Loundraw interpret the ending.

Ya it was so good... I feel like from the earlier chapters he will expand upon the ending more but either way I hope he comes back to it, it's very close to being finished

From the novel looks like only 1 chapter worth of material is possible, but if Loundraw have different plan for the ending then it would be great (The novel's ending was great in its own right but I can't help to think that it's too vague at times)

I've bought 2 volumes of the physical copy late 2021 and I was so sad to see that it seemed to have been axed. The ending on Volume 2 was so sudden that it seems like they just run out of paper.

I wasn't sure how it would turn up since the remaining material wouldn't cover a whole volume 3. Hopefully they still pick it up and do it Justice.

I wish I knew why this is still on hiatus all these years later.
Even though I've never read any of the novels yet, I love the manga adaptions of Sugaru's novels.

... I may start reading whatever isn't or won't ever be adapted one day.
His romance with psychological themes of life stories are excellent. Hopefully this gets completed sooner than later.

First of all, there is a novel? and secondly after chapter 17 where do I start the "novel" from?

The novel consist of only 127 very short chapter, the manga left off at chapter 113.
