Full adaptation?

An anime adaptation for this seems kind of odd if you think about it.

It was announced on the day the manga ended so it's not likely being used as an advertisement since a big chunk of the boost is already loss.

The sales are about average but nothing special. Chainsawman also announced an anime after the manga ended but it has two things going for it 1) It is one of the most popular series in Jump, selling millions of volumes and 2) There's a part 2 coming so there will be more manga content.

There's about 130 chapters (including the specials/gaidens). Even assuming a rate of 3 chapters per episode, that's about 42 episodes which can probably be done in 39 episodes (3 cours).

It seems highly unlikely this will get 3 cours.

At 2 cours it'll be a lot of cut content. And I'm surprised it'll even get 2 cours.

If it's 1 cour, it's just Tokyo Ghoul:Re all over again.

I feel 2 cours of 24-25 episodes each would bring a good pace to every episode, and by extension, to the series as a whole, since it basically means adapting 2 - 2.5 chapters of the manga per episode. And if a capable studio is on the helm with enough time for a good production schedule, they should be able to pull it off.

Even if they finally finish adapting it in another 10 years, I'd much rather that than it getting rushed.

I Hope we'll get a well paced adaptation if it's gonna be rushed it will be a huge disappointement

i think they can use it to boost the overall sales of the manga . like if they give a one cour adaptation and end it on a very good spot that would make the viewers eager to know what happens next . its the oldest trick in the book , but it works like a charm.

Of course the most we can expect is 1-cour , unless this does a kny or jjk .
