so i just finished FMAB skipping over FMA as its filler and was wondering if this links to the canon timeline or non canon timeline thanks

im pretty sure its canon because its regarded as a side story and not a spinoff.

FMA 2003 it's a pretty good series on it's own and even better than Brotherhood in some aspects. While I think Brotherhood is overall the better of the two, 2003 it's still worth checking out.

Anyway, this movie is connected to Brotherhood.
