After doing some research on multiple sites, I have found the MAL entry for this comic series to be completely outdated. Throughout this entry, I will explain all the updates I have in the past few months (with links to the official evidence) and a few theories that I have created.
The MAL Page:
To start off, the external links tab is outdated. The website that is used for the series is here. This website currently supplies all of the limited edition merch. Another link that should be added to this group is the link to the Hirasaka Yomis Twitter. This page is where I found out that the creator had finished the series off with a total of 14 volumes. On top of that, it also shows when the Japanese version of A Sister's All You Need @ comic is on sale.
Next is the status, publishing dates, and extras. The last volume of A Sister's All You Need @ comic was published on February 18, 2020 (link to the official tweet is here) and the first volume was actually published on May 24, 2016. Link to the Japanese Wikipedia is here: https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/妹さえいればいい。#漫画 . Also, Hirasaka has made multiple fan service that are non-related to the original storyline called Gaiden imōto ni sae nareba ī!, which can be loosely translated to "All I need is my sister. Gaiden You only need to be your sister!". The miniseries only has three volumes and started publishing May 18, 2017 and ended on February 20, 2018.
Possible Theories for the Future:
If Hirasaka Yomi makes volumes 8 -14 into an anime adaptation, it would be season 2 of the series and would feature a more mature versions of the main characters and add more minor characters to the plot. The anime adaptation will most likely be released during fall 2020 - spring 2021 due to COVID-19. On top of that, we will get the manga in English around Summer 2021 - Fall 2022 since Yen Press would have to obtain the license to translate and legally distribute the manga in North America. Light novels for volumes 8 - 14 will probably be fully completed by Summer of 2024 since it takes around 3 years for Yen Press to fully translate and obtain the license to the original novels.
That being said, make sure that you stay grasped onto the series! We might be getting a new season very soon!
